Academic Innovations & eLearning

UAA Academic Innovations & eLearning supports the UAA learning environment by fostering quality instructional practices, innovation and technologies. Consisting of instructional designers, developers, multimedia specialists and student support personnel, we support eLearning and instructional technologies, and provide professional development opportunities for all of UAA and our rural campuses.

January Focus on Accessibility

As you prepare your spring classes for delivery, take the time to learn a few quick and easy things you can do to make your course materials more accessible to all students.

January Featured Resources: Stay tuned for helpful Edutips on working with an ASL interpreter and quick and easy accessible document formats. Check out our EduTip: Easy Captioning in YouTube

Accessibility goes beyond the nuts and bolts of course preparation so we will also be hosting a wider conversation on the latest trends in higher education accessibility "policies/programs/initiatives" at campuses nationwide.

Be sure to check the AI&e Workshops Calendar. For more information on accessibility visit UAA Disability Support Services.

You can also get involved by joining and sharing your insight at the UAA Commons
