Dean's Awards for Excellence

The University Honors College Dean's Awards for Excellence recognizes outstanding Honors students at the freshman/sophomore, sophomore/junior levels with the Claudia B. Lampman Prize for Excellence, the George A. Geistauts Prize for Excellence, and the Renee Carter-Chapman Award for Civic Engagement and Leadership, respectively.

The $200 awards are based in part on classroom performance in an Honors class or classes and also consider a student's overall academic excellence and achievements in community engagement and leadership activities.  In addition, a Dean's Recognition for Honors College Service Award is made for exceptional leadership within the Honors College.
