Parking Services: An auxiliary enterprise that sells permits for parking to faculty, staff and students and enforces parking regulations.    Income from parking permits and citations are deposited into separate accounts, which form the operating funds for Parking Services.

Policy

Authority
The President through authority vested Board of Regents Policy has delegated authority to the Chancellor to establish parking policies and promulgate and enforce parking rules on the UAA campus. The scope of this authority includes the development of forms and procedures including, but not limited to, fee administration, citations, hearings, penalties, and appeals. The President retains the authority to approve parking fee charges.
 
This section of the Administrative Services Policy Manual provides information on parking policies at UAA. The policies are designed to support and facilitate the educational, research, and public service missions of the university through the efficient management of parking at UAA.
 
Parking Services Responsibilities
Parking Services administers parking policies and procedures, sells permits, and enforces parking rules on the UAA campus. Parking Services has the responsibility of providing safe and adequate parking for University students, staff, faculty, and visitors. A student Call Team is employed to enforce rules and assist individuals with vehicle problems. Parking Services collects parking fees to pay for services, parking lot maintenance, utilities, and debt service on parking improvements.
