International Students: Apply for Admission

UAA applicants must meet general academic admission requirements. Some international applicants will need to meet additional requirements as noted on the following pages. For admission purposes international students fall into two groups:

Students who will need an I-20 for F-1 visa status:

Undergraduate students should access the Prospective Undergraduate F-1 Student Admissions Process packet which describes the admission requirements for F-1 visa students in detail.
Graduate students should access the Prospective Graduate F-1 Student Admissions Process packet for F-1 student requirements.
Students who want to inquire about a change to F-1 status should access information here.

All other students who are not U.S. citizens but do not require an F-1 visa will be required to submit documentation of his or her current immigration status. Carefully review transcript requirements for international students if you have attended high-school or college outside the United States.
