The mission of the College of Fellows is to advance UAA through its advocacy, participation and involvement in the philanthropic life of the University, thus supporting the goals and objectives of the University of Alaska Anchorage.


The College of Fellows recognizes the University of Alaska Anchorage’s most generous annual donors whose commitment and loyalty to UAA creates opportunities for excellence in education, research and public service. Donors at the President’s Associates level ($1,000+) understand that support from alumni and friends is critical to the future of the University and its work in our community and world.

UAA continues to expand the scope and power of education, providing development for our state, supporting Alaska’s diverse peoples through specialty programs, and fostering cultural richness and civil participation in our community.  Support from our valued donors ensures continued progress.

Wherever you designate your gift, your commitment impacts the lives of students and faculty on every one of UAA’s campuses.  We value your partnership with the University of Alaska Anchorage as part of the College of Fellows.


As advocates, UAA College of Fellows’ members champion many excellent educational opportunities offered at UAA with our community by:

• Sharing their commitment to the University and UAA’s successes with their friends and co-workers;
• Inviting their peers to attend campus events;
• Participating in UAA College of Fellows activities; and
• Encouraging others to join them in support of UAA.

As a donor at the President’s Associates level and a member of the College of Fellows, you receive an invitation for you and a guest to each of the following events:

• Evening event to showcase a UAA program or issue – Fall and Spring
• Luncheon to showcase a UAA program or issue – Fall and Spring
• Annual President’s Associates Donor Recognition Event
• Annual Advisory Board Breakfast with special address by University of Alaska President

• A monthly electronic newsletter highlighting public lectures, concerts and events;
• Notifications of complimentary tickets to select campus events on a first-come basis;
• Golden A lapel pin for President’s Associates level donors;
• Annual gift of note cards featuring artwork by a member of the UAA family;
• Listing in the University of Alaska Foundation’s Report on Giving;
• Listing in the University of Alaska Anchorage’s Honor Roll of Donors; and
• An Accolades publication (twice yearly).

• Individuals who contribute annually (July 1 – June 30) at the $1,000+ leadership level
• Gifts by cash, credit card, payroll deductions or check are considered eligible gifts
