Advisors will assist in identifying appropriate courses for the completion of your General Education Requirements (GERs). The Center also provides guidance in the areas of career exploration to use your Associate of Arts degree as a stepping stone into a baccalaureate degree and/or a fulfilling career. When coming to visit with your advisor, please remember your picture ID.

• Making An Appointment - You can make an appointment to meet with an advisor by calling 907-786-4500. You are welcome to request an appointment with a specific advisor. Advising appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes. To get the most out of your visit, it is a good idea to prepare by making a list of the questions you want to ask.
• Walk In Advising - At various times during the day, staff advisors may be able to meet with students who do not have appointments. Although we try to accommodate "walk-ins" as best we can, there is no guarantee an advisor will be available at all times.
