Associate of Arts

Students admitted to UAA seeking the Associate of Arts degree are assigned to the Advising and Testing Center for their Academic Advising. 

Advisors will assist in identifying appropriate courses for the completion of your General Education Requirements (GERs). The Center also provides guidance in the areas of career exploration to use your Associate of Arts degree as a stepping stone into a baccalaureate degree and/or a fulfilling career. When coming to visit with your advisor, please remember your picture ID.

Students looking for advising under these circumstances can contact the Center by:

• Making An Appointment - You can make an appointment to meet with an advisor by calling 907-786-4500. You are welcome to request an appointment with a specific advisor. Advising appointments are scheduled for 45 minutes. To get the most out of your visit, it is a good idea to prepare by making a list of the questions you want to ask.
