Testing and Assessment Services

We provide testing and assessment services to new and continuing students to enhance the attainment of their individual, educational, and life goals.

The Advising & Testing Center supports many of the testing needs of UAA in addition to serving as a national testing site for the community. It administers a wide range of testing and assessment instruments used for admission, awarding of college credits, career and life planning, and professional certification. 

Open Testing Lab

The Open Testing Lab is located in the University Center Room 112 (Map). Testers may arrive with picture ID during any of the times listed below to take Accuplacer, CLEP, DANTES, HOBET, Correspondence Exams, Miller's Analogy Test, and the Strong Interest Inventory & Myers-Briggs Personality Combo. Appointments are not necessary. Payment for testing can be made at the cashier's window also in the University Center. After payment has been processed, the Advising & Testing Center will date stamp the payment receipt, explain the exam to the tester, and testing will begin. Arrive early enough to make the payment and begin testing prior to the lab close time.

CELL PHONES ARE *NOT* PERMITTED IN THE TESTING LAB!!  We provide a locker for the storage of personal items which are under video surveillance. Electronic items must be turned off. We recommend leaving items in your vehicle if possible.

Friday 12:30pm-3:00pm* (must be finished by 5:00pm)

*Latest test start time for testing less than 2 hours
