The Advising and Testing Center provides career assessment testing for UAA students and members of the community. We offer an assessment test designed to help you select a career best suited to your personality and interest. Tests require a follow up hour long appointment with an advisor to receive your results, which will be set up with you after the completion of your exam.

The Myers Briggs is a personality test that is used by career advisors to help you better understand the dynamics of your personality traits and to help you identify occupations best suited to individuals like yourself.

The Strong Interest Inventory is a test designed to identify your “likes” and “dislikes” and match your profile with the interests of people from a wide range of occupational groups. This test was designed to help individuals select careers best suited to their personal interests.

Currently enrolled UAA students pay $30.00

HOW DO I REGISTER?   Please see our lab schedule for testing times. No appointment to test is necessary.

HOW DO I PAY? You report to the Advising and Testing Center in the University Center Mall in Room 112, on the day of the test.  The test fee may be paid by cash, check or credit card.  Please stop by the Advising and Testing Center for a payment card before going to the cashier. 

WHERE DO I GO TO TAKE THE TEST? You will take the test at the Advising and Testing Center, located at the University Center in room 112. You can pay for your test fee by cash, credit card, or by check, payable to UAA.
