Welcome! UAA offers an exciting first-year experience course, GUID 150 Creating Success in College, designed to promoting life skills, strategies for academic success, campus and community connections, and foundations of global learning. You will find this class lively and engaging.  

This course fulfills three credits of electives needed for graduation. [AAS degree students can use this class as a general elective or as three credits of Social Science] This is UAA’s college success course! It is designed to promote self-confidence, self knowledge, and help develop habits common to all successful students.
