CLEP - College Level Examination  - The College-Level Program (CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know, for a fraction of the cost of a college course.  Developed by the College Board, CLEP is the most widely accepted credit by examination program available at more than 2,900 colleges and universities.  Pass any of the 33 CLEP exams and achieve your college and career goals. These exams are offered daily during open testing lab hours at the Advising and Testing Center.

 

DANTES - Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DSST) - Are College Level exams that students can take to earn college credit for knowledge acquired outside of the traditional classroom.  Recommended for credit by the American Council on Education (ACE), the 38 subject-level exams are offered in diverse diciplines and cover upper and lower-level baccalaureate credit courses. These exams are offered daily during open lab hours at the Advising and Testing Center.

 

UExcel Exams - is a credit by examination program offered in a computer based format at the Advising and Testing Center.  The University of Alaska Anchorage awards credit for successful completion of the Excelsior College Examination.  Visit the UExcel Website to register and for additional exam details. UExcel Exams are offered through PearsonVue and can be taken at the Advising and Testing Center daily during our testing lab hours.
