Psychology Exit Exam
The Psychology Area Concentration Achievement Test or (ACAT), is required for all undergraduate Psychology majors who wish to graduate from the University of Alaska Anchorage. The exam is a standardized test of knowledge approved by the Psychology Department. There is no minimum score required for graduation. The test is offered daily during the testing center open hours which are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 12:00 noon and 1:00 - 5:00 pm.
When can I take it?
The test can be taken anytime the testing center is open Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 12:00 noon or 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm. You may schedule an appointment online or by phone: 907-786-4525.
How much does it cost?
The cost to take the test is $15.00 and may be paid at the cashier window in the University Center during normal business hours or online through our online payment system. Please note you will be charged a convenience fee for this service.
Do I receive a score report?
At the end of the test candidates will be able to view and print a copy of the scores immediately. Copies of the report will be sent to the Psychology Department and also to the UAA Registrars Office.
