Dental Hygiene Clinic

Our Dental Hygiene Clinic provides reduced cost dental care to staff, students and community members. As part of the Dental Hygiene program, students see patients under the supervision of a dentist from the Anchorage community. The Clinic is HIPAA compliant and maintains the highest level of infection control procedures for patient safety.

Services

Services offered consist of:

  • dental examinations
  • dental cleanings
  • x-rays
  • sealants

Costs are less than private dental practices, but the time needed to complete each service is longer.

X-rays are taken only at the request of the on-site dentist or with written approval from a personal dentist. The x-rays are kept with the patient's file. A copy of the patient's x-rays/records can be sent to a dentist of choice with written authorization from the patient. Please allow at least two weeks for x-rays and records to be duplicated for transfer. Requests for additional copies of patient x-rays/records are $10 per request.

Payment for the complete treatment is expected at the end of the first visit. Payment can be made with check, money order or cash. The Hygiene Clinic does not accept credit cards or health insurance.
