Scholarships

School of Allied Health Tuition Waiver Scholarship

Tuition waivers are available, up to 12 undergraduate credits per student per semester.  Tuition waivers do not cover the cost of any fees or books.

Eligibility Information:  Applicant must be admitted to UAA in an Allied Health program of study and be enrolled in a minimum of three credits leading to a degree or certificate in an Allied Health program.  Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 at the time of application.  Applicant must submit application packet with all requested information by the application deadline.

Application Deadlines:  Summer 2013 application packet is due April 15, 2013 by 4:00 pm to the School of Allied Health.  No late applications will be accepted.

Second Chance Scholarship

Eligibility Information:  Undergraduate student must be admitted to UAA, in a School of Allied Health Program and be an Alaska resident.  Award is determined by financial need.

Application Deadlines:  August 16th for Fall Semester, November 30th for Spring Semester, April 15th for Summer Session.  Applications must be received by 4pm on the listed application deadline.  Late applications will not be accepted.

Alaska Pharmacists Association Pharmacy Technician Scholarship

Eligibility Information:  This scholarship will be given to an Alaska resident who is a high school graduate or holds a GED certificate and is currently enrolled in the pharmacy technology curriculum at the University of Alaska, or to a current Alaska Pharmacy Technician license holder who intends to enroll in the pharmacy technology curriculum at the University of Alaska.

Alaska Pharmacists Association Pre-Pharmacy Scholarship

Eligibility Information:  The Alaska Pharmacists Association is pleased to offer a $1,100.00 scholarship to promote the education and interest in pharmacy careers. Applications must be students enrolled in a pre-pharmacy or pre-medicine curriculum with the intention of applying for admission to a professional school of pharmacy.

Application Deadline:  Applications will be accepted until November 1, 2012.
