I’m pleased to share with you the final issue of Accolades, UAA’s university magazine that’s served its purpose of engaging friends, donors, business leaders and alumni in what’s happening at UAA since 2002. As we move forward with
a new structure for alumni relations at UAA, we will also launch a new magazine dedicated solely to UAA’s alumni. We can’t wait for this exciting new magazine to take shape over the next few months. We will also be exploring alternative ways to share UAA’s amazing stories with our non-alumni communities.
This issue of Accolades represents both an ending and beginning. As we close the chapter on this publication, we are thrilled in this final issue, to highlight the launch of UAA’s new brand campaign, Amazing Stories Being Written Every Day. So often when I tell people in the community about a cool research project at UAA or about a student who’s accomplished something seemingly impossible or extraordinary, I hear: "At UAA? Wow. That’s amazing. I had no idea." It's our hope that through this new campaign our community will continue to be amazed by the accomplishments of our students, faculty, staff and alumni.
