The degree I received in Business Administration back in 1989 enabled me to get a job promotion at work into our Accounting Department. The classes had a good foundation of business principles, and I am grateful for the knowledge and am proud to have attended UAA. My husband has several degrees from UAA, and our daughter is currently a full time student as well. Our family is proud to be a part of UAA.

I am grateful for the opportunities available for students in the psychology department. If you want to simply go to class, do your work and earn a grade, you could, but if you showed an interest in digging deeper and getting involved, faculty were there to support you. I was able to create teacher assistant opportunities to extend my learning, participate in research projects and the psychology club and learned so much from these experiences. Dr. Rosich and Dr. Madigan both inspired me to continue my learning in psychology and to ultimately pursue graduate school.
