The degree I received in Business Administration back in 1989 enabled me to get a job promotion at work into our Accounting Department. The classes had a good foundation of business principles, and I am grateful for the knowledge and am proud to have attended UAA. My husband has several degrees from UAA, and our daughter is currently a full time student as well. Our family is proud to be a part of UAA. - Brenda, AAS Business '89 |
I am grateful to be given the opportunity to better myself. I believe UAA has my best interest with the class flexibility and I enjoyed my time here. I plan to continue my education and work toward a career where I can utilize what I have learned from UAA. THANK YOU!!! - Christine, Bachelor's Human Sciences '12 |

I am grateful for the opportunities available for students in the psychology department. If you want to simply go to class, do your work and earn a grade, you could, but if you showed an interest in digging deeper and getting involved, faculty were there to support you. I was able to create teacher assistant opportunities to extend my learning, participate in research projects and the psychology club and learned so much from these experiences. Dr. Rosich and Dr. Madigan both inspired me to continue my learning in psychology and to ultimately pursue graduate school. - Jason, BA Psychology '03 |
UAA is a cornucopia of opportunity, knowledge, potential, and generally good things. In a very big way, UAA brings Alaskans, and the world, together in the common pursuit of greater understanding...Thanks UAA! - Richard, BS Natural Sciences '15 |
