Applications due by January 14th, 2015 by 5:00pm.
Final decisions will be announced the following week.

The Department of Anthropology is looking for eligible students to apply for Fall 2014 Tuition Waivers.  To qualify for the waiver, you need to:

  • Be an Anthropology major in your junior or senior year
  • Have a GPA in Anthropology courses of 2.5 or higher
  • Have completed at least 60 credits by the end of the Fall Semester 2014

Required information to complete the application includes:
  • A transcript (official or unofficial) -- it MUST reflect courses completed as of the end of the Fall 2014 semester
  • An essay (250 words maximum) describing how an anthropology degree will help you with your career plans (academic or otherwise)
  • Anthropology courses you plan on taking next semester

This year, for your convenience, we are offering the application process online.  You may still submit your application in person to BMH 231.

Please remember students must be eligible (requirements on form) and meet requirements to be in good academic standing with financial aid. The tuition waiver only covers tuition, and if students have other sources that cover tuition specifically, the tuition waiver will only cover tuition that is not yet paid off. If a student has sources to cover all of the tuition, then financial aid will not be able to disburse the tuition waiver.
