Her uncollected short stories have appeared in a wide range of magazines and journals including The New Yorker and Alaska Quarterly Review. Marie Sheppard Williams is a frequent contributor to Alaska Quarterly Review. She has received a Bush Artist Fellowship, two Pushcart Prizes, and a Wolf Pen Fellowship sponsored by the Kentucky Foundation for Women.
