We are currently conducting two needs assessments that will assist us in developing tailored training materials. In both needs assessments the questions were based around the federal Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s seven core FASD competencies. More information on these needs assessments will be posted in the near future.
We are also planning our first annual conference Collaborative Conversations: New Perspectives on FASDs, to be held at the University of Alaska Anchorage campus on Tuesday, May 19, 2009. For more information on this, please see Education and Training.
