UAA Athletics serves the Anchorage and campus communities by fielding competitive NCAA teams in 11 sports and providing recreational opportunities for students, faculty and staff. UAA is a proud member of the Great Northwest Athletics Conference (GNAC), Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) and Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate Ski Association, bringing student-athletes from all over the world to participate in basketball, cross country running, gymnastics, hockey, skiing, track & field, and volleyball. Go Seawolves!!! UAA's recreation program hosts intramural sports for fun and health. The Wells Fargo Sports Complex is also available to UAA students, staff and faculty. |

Recreational SportsWells Fargo Sports Complex- UAA's sports complex serves as a training facility for the UAA Seawolves, an educational facility for physical education classes, and a recreation facility for students, staff and faculty. The complex contains a gym, swimming pool, ice rink, fitness center, jogging track and dance studio all under one roof. Recreation - Students, staff, and faculty can take advantage of the gym, pool, and other facilities for their health and enjoyment.
