- Application Form
To apply to our program, use this online application form. Please save a copy of the application form before you submit. Once you have submitted the application form, a copy of it will be sent to you by email confirming your submission. If you do not receive an email confirmation or you are having other problems with the submission of your application, you can send the copy of the application directly to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Personal Statement
Write a two-page (double-spaced) statement that provides a portrait of who you are as a student. Describe your research interests and goals. Be very specific about your career objectives and how participation in this REU program will help you achieve those objectives. Tell us what motivates you to conduct research. Let us know why you feel you are particularly qualified for this REU program. Provide details of any experiences that you feel are relevant to your application. This personal statement should be submitted as a PDF document at the end of the online application.
An unofficial or official copy of your most recent college transcript and a list of current courses should be included with your application (please include transcript and personal statement in one email). This document should be submitted as a PDF document at the end of the online application. If you are unable to submit electronically please mail your unofficial/official transcripts to:

- Letters of Recommendation
Request two letters of recommendation from instructors who can best evaluate you. Letters should be submitted by instructors directly by using this online form.
When to Submit:
The application deadline is Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Applications will no longer be taken after 11:59 p.m. (AKDT) on Wednesday, February 18, 2015.
Where to Submit:
All application materials should be submitted electronically via the application form. Clicking the “submit” button on the application form will send it automatically. Please attached your personal statement and transcripts as a PDF at the end of the application. Letters of Recommendation should be submitted via the submission form by your instructors.
