UAA's Department of Biological Sciences offers students three undergraduate degrees--the BS in Biological Sciences, a BA in Biological Sciences, and a unique degree called the BS in Natural Sciences. The opportunities for undergraduate research, our diverse and talented faculty, the personal service in our department, and the quality of education found at the University of Alaska Anchorage appeal to many students. We have become one of the largest departments in the entire University of Alaska system with over 520 active majors in our department and continue to make customer service our number one priority.
