| Request for Proposals Faculty Development Travel Funds Proposals are due November 13th at 5pm The United Academics Union and the Office of Academic Affairs are pleased to announce the availability of funding for travel/training from now until June 30, 2010 for members of the United Academics bargaining unit. Proposals for funding are due November 13, 2009. Funds may be awarded for the following purposes: - Travel for the purpose of presenting papers or actively participating in conferences, workshops, and symposiums
- Travel for acquisition of and/or processing of data or samples
- Registration fees for on-line conferences, workshops, and symposiums
Travel funding originates from United Academics presidential buyout funds agreed to through the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This funding is matched by the UAA Office of Academic Affairs. There are $5966.42 in funds available. The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence appreciates this support from UnAc and OAA to assist faculty in professional development.
Please note that this funding is only available to members of the United Academics bargaining unit.
