Keep TalkingThe experiences and reflections of thirty-five UAA and APU faculty members are featured in Start Talking: A Handbook for Engaging Difficult Dialogues in Higher Education, published by the University of Alaska Anchorage and Alaska Pacific University in 2008. As we went to press, a third cohort was just finishing up their first year of experimenting with Difficult Dialogues techniques in their classrooms and a fourth cohort was preparing to attend the faculty intensive and launch their own efforts during the following year.
This page links their voices to the conversations begun in Start Talking. We invite faculty members to submit reflections on difficult dialogues for this page and we are pleased to post essays that continue and deepen the conversation on this important topic.
