 Best Practices
This series offers you opportunities to learn proven, highly effective teaching techniques and to share your experiences with other faculty. Participants attend at least six sessions in the spring 2008 semester, and then implement at least one practice in one of their courses in summer and fall 2008. In spring semester 2009, participants present the results of their efforts at a special CAFE event.

If so, you're in good company. Faculty across the nation report challenges on all these fronts. Please join us for an ongoing series in which we explore these issues and resources that can make the juggling act easier. This semester we will focus on issues related to aging, health, and caring for aging or ill family members.

Islam is the 2nd largest religious community in the U.S. In cooperation with APU's Engaging Muslims project and the UAA/APU Engaging Controversy program, CAFE is pleased to offer a series of guest lectures by some of the most respected scholars on Islam in the U.S.
