What You Should Know Before Submitting Faculty Development Grant Applications

The Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE) invites you to join representatives from the Faculty Senate Grants and Leaves Committee and Faculty Services to learn how to put together your application for a Faculty Development or Travel Grant (Due: October 15 or March 15). This session will look at the applications from the perspective of the Grants & Leaves Committee, specifically what they are looking for, how they assign ratings, and how the ratings are presented to the Provost.

IDEA - How to Incorporate Your IDEA Results into your Faculty Evaluation Self Reviews

What should you do with the IDEA results if you have low response rates or your summaries indicate that the results are unreliable and/or unrepresentative?  John Petraitis, Professor of Psychology and Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences will help you understand what this means and provide examples of how you can use these results to document your efforts to continuously examine your effectiveness as an educator.
