Focus the Nation: Global Warming Solutions for America

Focus the Nation is a nation-wide event on campuses to help students learn about global warming and the actions they can take to mitigate its worst effects, and show them how to get involved in efforts to reduce their institution's carbon footprint. On many campuses, faculty are holding "teach-ins" on this critical topic. At UAA, we will have three hours of music by popular local bands punctuated by short speeches by students, faculty and administrators; information tables on global warming and ways to get involved at UAA; and much more! Please come out to show your support for student engagement and action on global warming.
