Academic Innovations & eLearning (AIeL) - Instructional designers, developers, multimedia specialists and student support personnel who support distance education and instructional technologies, and provide professional development opportunities for all of UAA, including the rural campuses.

Center for Advancing Faculty Excellence (CAFE)- UAA’s colleague-to-colleague teaching and learning center that promotes excellence and innovation in teaching, research, creative activity and engagement in an atmosphere of collegiality for faculty on all campuses.

Center for Community Engagement & Learning (CCE&L) - develops community-based applied research projects and supports academic service-learning that links community service and academic study. In 2006, the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching classified UAA as a Community Engaged Institution.
