We could say that parking on campus is going to get easier and more convenient, but as we prepare for new construction on campus in the vicinity of the library, it may become more difficult for UAA faculty and staff to find parking accommodations on the East side of campus. All vehicles parked on campus are required to display a valid permit from 8:00am until 7:30pm. Visitors can park using the "Pay and Park" machines (located in various lots), meters or the parking garage. Day passes are also available from the Parking Services Office, the Bookstore or the Library Circulation Desk.
HOW TO GET A PERMANENT PARKING PERMIT:
| All parking permits must be visible. Permits must be adhered to the front windshield on the lower driver side. Yellow, Green, and Platinum Permits are portable decals and are able to be transferred between assigned vehicles. If you forget your permit on your other vehicle, you are responsible for purchasing a day pass from Parking Services, the Bookstore or the Library Circulation Desk. All vehicles the permit will be used on must be registered with the permit. Lost or stolen permits must be replaced at full purchase price. The parking permit program is in effect during the Fall and Spring semesters only. Permit can be ordered online at www.thepermitstore.com.
