Career Fairs

The Career Services Center coordinates several career fairs each school year, which present great opportunities to network with other companies, meet and screen multiple candidates, accept resumes from the best and brightest of upcoming job applicants, and recruit potential employees for your company's part-time, full-time, seasonal, and internship positions. Mark your calendars for these upcoming career fairs:

2014 City-Wide Career Fair
Thursday, February 13 from 9 am - 3 pm in the UAA Student Union

2014 Seasonal & Part-Time Career Fair
Thursday, March 27 from 10 am - 2 pm in the UAA Student Union

Please contact us if you have any special needs for your table display or any questions regarding career fairs in general. Prior to the career fair we will send you a confirmation packet either via email or in the mail with parking information and other pertinent information that you will need. Let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you or to enhance your career fair experience with us.

Registration Process

If your company is interested in attending a career fair at the University of Alaska Anchorage, please let the Career Services Center know! We send invitations out to companies via email, so please sign up for an Employer Account on our Online Job Database. Along with the invitation, we send an Event Registration Form, which needs to be filled out and sent back to Career Services to confirm a space at the Career Fair. When you submit your registration, you will receive a confirmation email within two working days confirming that we have received your registration. Before the career fair, you will receive another email with a UAA campus map, your invoice, parking information, and any other pertinent information to the career fair. There is a registration fee to attend and reserve a booth as an employer, which covers a table and two chairs, set-up costs, parking costs, lunch for two representatives (additional representative lunches are $10 each), and all advertising for the event. Payment is due before the day of the particular career fair. If you have additional questions about the registration process, please contact us!
