Consider coming to the Career Services Center for a practice interview to work out any kinks, nervousness, or uncertainties that you may have about your upcoming interview.
Mock Interview
Students and Alumni can participate in videotaped mock interview training in order to practice their interviewing skills and to receive feedback on their performance. Mock Interviews are available by appointment, which you can schedule through the Office Manager in Rasmuson Hall, suite 122 or by calling (907) 786-4513.
Preparation for Your Mock Interview

1. Drop off or email a copy of your resume to our office at-least one business day before your Mock Interview.
2. Come dressed professionally, as if you were coming to an actual job interview.
3. You will be interviewed by a Career Counselor.
4. The interview will be video taped and then watched and critiqued for your benefit.
5. Video taping is optional. Please let our office know whether or not you want to be video taped at-least one business day before your interview.
Virtual Job Interview
Come to the Career Services Center to practice your interview skills with our Virtual Job Interview. Receive instant feedback on your interview skills. Learn if the answers you give to interview questions are good or bad, and why. You will discover the kinds of answers that employers are really looking for. Let the Career Services Center assist you in making your next interview a success.
Virtual Job Interview Process:
We will set you up with the Virtual Interview program on a labtop in one of our interview rooms and get you started. It is simple. You select answers and the computer will respond to your answers. The Virtual Interview takes about 30 minutes.
