Care Team
What does the UAA Care Team do?Mission Statement: What We Do: The
Care Team reviews reports to determine whether a student poses a threat to
others and takes action to protect the safety and welfare of the University community. The Care Team receives reports from departments across campus about concerns regarding the wellbeing and behavior of students. The team tailors their response to each report by providing specific guidance, resources and referrals to students, staff and faculty. The Care Team provides follow-up and support to students. There are 10 Core Functions of a Behavioral Intervention Team
