Biography
Becky Porter joined CBHRS as a project manager in 2011. Becky
earned a M.S. in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2006 and is a
Licensed Professional Counselor. Her general
research interests include women’s health issues and qualitative research
methods. Her thesis explored body image among adolescent female competitive
swimmers. Prior to CBHRS, Becky provided clinical care in Salt Lake City, Utah
with adults and adolescents in the areas of substance abuse, eating disorders,
and HIV/AIDS. She also maintains a general private practice in Anchorage. Outside
of work, Becky enjoys recreating in the outdoors on skis, mountain bike, or
raft with her partner and two dogs.
