Lucía Grauman Neander, B.A.
Graduate Research Assistant
Lucía is a research assistant at CBHRS as well as a doctoral student in the UAA-UAF Ph.D. joint program in Clinical-Community Psychology. She recently earned her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Mount Allison University (New Brunswick, Canada) in the spring of 2013. Lucía has extensive experience as a medical interpreter and as an educational health care facilitator in Central America. Her research interests include the social determinants of mental health, suicide, and substance abuse/addictions as well as the cognitive and social development of children. Lucía is a multi-linguist and an avid traveler.
