Biography
Valerie is a third year student in the PhD program in Clinical-Community
Psychology on the UAF campus. Originally from Texas, Valerie earned her
BA in Psychology from Texas Lutheran
University. Her research interests are varied and include
understanding factors related to substance abuse, the role of
spirituality in wellness, intervention approaches for clients with
personality disorders, and clinical supervision. She enjoys her time
in Fairbanks running, writing, hiking, camping, and appreciating the
amazing Alaskan landscapes.
