If you provide community, family, workplace, educational, speech-language, or respite support to children or adults with disabilities; or are thinking of a career in disability services; you can enroll in our distance delivered courses. The courses are taught using an online interactive platform on your home computer with additional print materials. Homework and activities are completed in your community. You engage with other students from all over the state online during weekly Web Conferencing sessions. UAA CHD specialty courses in Disability services are listed in the Prince William Sound Community College catalog online at www.pwscc.edu and lead to an undergraduate Certificate or an Associate Degree in Disability Services. Enroll in a Degree ProgramIf you enroll in our courses, you can begin working towards either a Certificate or an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Disability Services, offered by Prince William Sound Community College. Enroll in one of these programs and earn a college degree while you continue to provide support for people with disabilities in your home community.Apply for a ScholarshipThe UAA Center for Human Development offers tuition assistance for the majority of our students through several grant programs. In addition, the Financial Aid Office at Prince William Sound Community College can help you access federal and local scholarship and loan programs.
