“Summer camp for people with disabilities has been my dream as long as I can remember, but LEND helped to show me that I can do more than dream and talk about it, I can actually DO it. All the dreaming and talking about it has certainly paid off because I used my LEND experience and began with our LEND project to recruit a planning committee and the first session of summer camp for children with autism and related disorders is scheduled for July 22-Aug 2, 2013!”
