| ||Susan has been President of the Providence Alaska Foundation since 2005. Prior to assuming this role, she served as Vice Chancellor for University Advancement at the University of Alaska Anchorage for four years. In the years preceding, she established The Nature Conservancy’s Alaska Chapter; was an environmental mediator with the Mediation Institute; acted as Alaska Field Representative for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights; and pounded Juneau pavement as a legislative reporter. |
Susan has served on several boards including the Smithsonian National Board, the Providence Alaska Foundation Board, and the Providence Alaska Region Board. Current commitments include: The Nature Conservancy of Alaska, The Great Land Trust, the Alaska Conservation Foundation, the Sitka Music Festival Foundation, the Alyeska Pipeline President’s Advisory Council, and the ConocoPhillips Philanthropy Advisory Board.
