Mission Statement

Tanaina Child Development Center at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) collaborates with families and the community to foster children’s social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive development.  We promote a love for learning and a foundation for school success, through a developmentally appropriate curriculum, while providing play-based childcare services for the UAA and Anchorage communities.
