Our Program

Tanaina is licensed to care for children ages 18 months to 6 years of age (summer program offers care for 6 years to 10 yearls old). There are two toddler groups with space for 18 children and three preschool groups with space for 42 children.

The preschool environment is structured to allow open exploration by the children with teachers there to help facilitate the exploration.There is a lot of outdoor play time, daily creative plays acted out by the children.

Tanaina is open 7am to 6pm; Monday through Friday
Closures follow closely that of UAA's administration schedule.

We offer primarily full day enrollment patterns 1,2,3,4 or 5 days per week. One day a week for toddlers are not available.

During the summer months we offer a limited number of slots available for school-age children or preschoolers needing SUMMER ONLY care. These spaces fill quickly, so contact the Tanaina office early to reserve your child's spot.
