The UAA Confucius Institute is pleased to celebrate the Chinese New Year by welcoming a performing troupe from Beijing Normal University, one of China’s premier educational institutions, who will appear at the Wendy Williamson Auditorium on Tuesday February 23.

The performance will feature a variety of music and dance styles from traditional folk tunes and dances to contemporary song and dance as well as martial arts demonstrations. The dancers with their bright costumes and supple movements will recreate traditional dances from a variety of Chinese ethnic groups as well as modern choreography. Musicians will play a variety of classical instruments and tunes. 

The show will start at 7:00pm. Free admission. Free parking.
