Special event for local youth employed in green jobs programs. Hosted by Alaska Youth for Environmental Action, Anchorage Park Foundation, Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Alaska Works, and Alaska Geographic.

Come hear one of the nation’s pioneers in successful urban green-collar job training! This MacArthur “genius” fellow founded Sustainable South Bronx in 2001 and has gone on to become a co-host on Sundance Channel’s The Green, and a host of a new public radio series called The Promised Land.
