Prospective Students

The College of Education (COE) at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA)  offers six undergraduate degrees/certificates and 10 graduate degrees and certificates, the College enrolls 1000 students from across Alaska and beyond. We are dedicated to creating learning communities that advance knowledge about teaching and learning, supporting the life-long education of professionals, embracing diversity, and serving the communities in which we live and work. We maintain a wide variety of partnerships and collaborations, promote innovative practices, and integrate meaningful assessment throughout our programs. The College places an emphasis on distance delivery to ensure that we meet the needs of all the state’s educators. UAA is regionally accredited by NWCCU and the COE is accredited by NCATE.
UAA is located in Anchorage on Cook Inlet and is situated in the heart of the Chugach Mountains and wilderness, with unparalleled beauty and recreational opportunity.
