Biography

Born in New York and a resident of 14 states, Robert moved to Fairbanks, AK, in 1977.  Since that time, he has lived in Fairbanks, Juneau, and Anchorage, and has represented businesses in all parts of Alaska.  Robert is a practicing attorney (since 1985) who emphasizes the acquisition of, and compliance with, permits relating to resource extraction, land development, and industrial enterprises.  He has represented residential and commercial developers and builders; logging companies; fishing companies; oil and gas companies; miners; telecommunication companies; and a variety of landowners with environmental problems, wetland issues, easement and land use conundrums and air quality issues.  Robert has a familiarity and expertise in local, state, and federal environmental laws.

Career History

Robert has been a partner with the Anchorage-based law firm of Reeves Amodio since 2007.  Prior to that time, he worked both for the State of Alaska (representing the resource agencies of ADF&G, DNR, and ADEC) as well as the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
