Located in the heart of Anchorage, the College of Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage embraces the wide range of cultural and technical subjects related to the planning, design and manufacture, or construction of objects necessary for civilization.The College of Engineering offers accredited degree and non-degree seeking programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. UAA is the campus of first choice for Alaska’s engineering students.

The College of Engineering provides hands-on experience and research opportunities to students while meeting industry's needs for highly educated and well-trained engineers. In addition, we support our industry colleagues by offering continuous professional education courses.

Engineering Professional Development Seminar Series

The 2014-2015 schedule is here!  All students and local engineers are invited to attend our seminar series focused primarily on Civil Engineering topics.  Sessions are held every Tuesday at 12:00 at the University Center Mall and are available by webcast.
