Prerequisite Guidelines

While we cannot state specific prerequisites for this program, we can provide some general guidance. Physical therapy programs usually require the following prior to admission:

• A bachelor’s degree
• General College Chemistry I and II - 6 semester hours
• General College Physics I and II - 6 semester hours
• General College Biology I and II - 6 semester hours
• Anatomy and Physiology - 6 semester hours (or 3 hours anatomy and 3 hours physiology)
• Social Sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology) - 9 semester hours
• Statistics
