When to Arrive You are encouraged to arrive as early as 2:00 p.m., but no later than 2:30 p.m. as the ceremony begins at 3:00 p.m. sharp. You are invited to visit with students, parents, as well as network with other faculty members at the Faculty Lounge. There will be refreshments, appetizers and greeters ready to advise you on the program details.
Where to Report Please check back for information on the location of the Faculty Lounge at the Sullivan Arena. Details will be posted soon.
Parking and Transportation Parking at the Sullivan is limited, so you may wish to take the UAA Shuttle. UAA will provide continuous shuttle service every 15 minutes from the UAA University Center (3901 Old Seward Hwy – UAA South Entrance) to the Sullivan Arena and back. The first shuttle departs the University Center at 1:45 p.m. After the ceremony, the shuttle will resume. The first post-ceremony shuttle will depart from the Sullivan Arena 15 minutes after the ceremony ends. Shuttle service will continue until 7 p.m.
MASTER’S DEGREE HOODING CEREMONY Time and date Saturday, May 2, 2009. Ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. and concludes at approximately 11:30 am.

Arrival Time Graduate Faculty are encouraged to arrive as early as 8:30 a.m., but no later than 9:30 a.m. as the ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp. You are invited to network with other graduate faculty members in the Faculty Reception Rooms. There will be greeters ready to advise you on the program details.
Where to Report All Graduate Faculty should assemble in one of the
Faculty Reception Rooms (map), located in Wendy Williamson Auditorium Dressing Rooms 111 and 109 accessible through the PSB main hallway by 9:45 a.m. and be ready to join in the processional to your designated seats in the auditorium. Full academic regalia is required. For information on ordering or renting regalia, please contact June Ebert at the UAA Bookstore (786-4760) as soon as possible.
There will be a reception after the ceremony in the atrium of Rasmussen Hall to allow graduates, faculty and family members to celebrate our students’ achievements.
