UAA Dental Hygiene Clinic

Our Dental Hygiene Clinic provides reduced cost dental care to staff, students, and community members.  As part of the Dental Hygiene program, dental hygiene students see patients under the supervision of a dentist from the Anchorage community.  The Dental Hygiene Clinic is HIPAA compliant and maintains the highest level of infection control procedures for patient safety.

SERVICES AND PAYMENT:  Services offered consist of dental examinations, dental cleanings, x-rays and sealants. Costs are less than private dental practice, but the time needed to complete each service is longer.

X-rays are taken only at the request of the on-site dentist or with written approval from a personal dentist. The x-rays are kept with the patient’s file. A copy of your x-rays/records can be sent to a dentist of your choice with written authorization. Please allow at least two weeks so x-rays and records can be duplicated for transfer to treating dentist. Requests for additional copies of your x-ray/records will cost $10 per time.

Payment for the complete treatment is expected at the end of the first visit. Payments can be made with check, money orders or cash. The hygiene clinic does not accept credit card payment or health insurance.
