The Career and Technical Education (CTE) department offers career pathways for technicians and professionals who seek to advance in their careers.

Apprenticeship Technologies
The Apprenticeship Technologies program is a 60-credit Associate of Applied Science degree for persons who have completed an apprenticeship program approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.  Students declaring a major in Apprenticeship Technologies may earn up to 38 credits towards the degree for their apprenticeship training.

Bachelor of Science, Technology
The Bachelor of Science, Technology (BST) is a degree completion program for students who have earned an AAS (or minimum of 45 related technical credits) from a regionally accredited institution and wish to pursue a baccalaureate degree.  Students may pursue a degree with or without a business emphasis.

Master of Arts in Teaching/ Masters in Education (with College of Education)
The Career and Technical Education department offers courses in conjunction with the College of Education for students seeking education certification in a career and technical field through the Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree and the Masters in Education (M.Ed.) with an emphasis in Adult Education or Counselor Education.

Master of Science in Career and Technical Education
The Master of Science in Career and Technical Education program at UAA provides graduate instruction for teachers, administrators, industry trainers, and workforce development professionals specializing in career and technical education at the secondary and postesecondary level.

Professional and Continuing Education
The Career and Technical Education department works with partners to provide professional development courses that help CTE teachers and trainers grow in their professional practice and help CTE teachers meet recertification requirements.
