The occupational endorsement certificate (OEC) provides intensive training in a specific occupational area which indicates competence in technical and professional skills.  The certificates are articulated to the AAS degree.  CIOS offers the following Occupational Endorsement Certificates:

Office Foundations (9 credits)
Provides foundational skills required for entry into the administrative office professional field.
Requirements

Office Support (13 credits)
Builds on the Office Foundations OEC with additional skills an administrative assistant would typically use in an office setting.  Prerequisite: Office Foundations OEC.
Requirements

Medical Office Support (15 credits)
Provides a solid foundation for individuals seeking a support position in a medical office.  Prerequisites: Office Foundations OEC.
Requirements

Office Digital Media (15 credits)
Builds on the Office Foundations OEC with basic skills in website maintenance and desktop publishing sometimes required of administrative assistants in an office setting.  Prerequisites: Office Foundations OEC.
Requirements

Technical Support (13 credits)
This OEC blends the skills of a network technician with those of the administrative support professional by providing basic skills for setting up and troubleshooting computer hardware and networks.
