Construction Management Scholarship Award

Lynette Warren, one of the first students in the UAA Construction Management program, was selected as the recipient of the first annual Construction Management Scholarship, offered through the Jan Van Den Top/Superior Group Inc.

Lynette was presented with her scholarship by Jan Van Den Top and Cindy Ellis (far left) of the Superior Group at a meeting of the Construction Management Industry Advisory Committee held on September 16, 2005.

The purpose of the Superior Group scholarship is to offer financial assistance for tuition and other educational expenses to students who are formally admitted into the Construction Management degree-seeking program at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The intent of this fund is to encourage entrance into the Construction Management field. Future employment with the company sponsoring this scholarship is encouraged.
